I am reading the book Habia una vez una quinceañera by Julia Alvarez. I chose this book because I like to read books that are by Julia Alvarez. I'm reading this book because it is an example of multicultural literature and we are studying about that in class. This book is about this woman that interviews girls that have had their quince or are going to or did not have their quince. She writes about the quinces to see if they're different from the ones that have money.
