The Cay

The book we read in class was The Cay. The book was about this 11 year old boy named Philip. Philip lived with his parents in Willemstad,Curaco. He had a friend and his name was Henrik. Henrik and Philip where very childish. People would keep talking about WWII. Philips mom wanted to come the United States. Philip's dad wanted to stay in his home town. Philip's mom decided to go to the U.S. Philip and his mom where on this big ship. On the way there Philip met a guy named Timothy. Timothy and Philip got stuck in the cay later on in the story.
